Just how the term &#8220;good&#8221; came to be associated with Good Friday is not clear. Some think it is a corruption of &#8220;God Friday&#8221; while still others believe it means pious, devout, or holy.<\/p>\n<p>However, I have often heard Good Friday referred to as &#8220;Good&#8221; in relationship to what Jesus did. By giving His life he transformed a day that was meant to be evil into something altogether good.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s how God works.
